The darkness who follows our every step,
our legs reach out, ready to step into the trap.
The being that speaks no words,
The being that walks upon our world.
Where the sun can never lit up this darkness,
instead, giving them power with aggressiveness.
Stretching upon the floor till the end of this world,
silently covering our trodden path without words.
Watching our movements,
copying them without any judgment.
Beings that exist in this world,
creating nightmares with our fear.
Our second being that walks with us,
to give them fear or to give them our trust?
This poem describes the shadows on the ground. Are they nightmares that feed upon our fears or beings that walk with us whom we can trust?

The vision of Day & Night
As the orange glow faded beyond the horizon,
let darkness reign supreme.
The dancing lights upon the blackened sky,
laughing and the dying glow.
And so rose the brightened beast,
watching over the dancing lights.
But alas,
soon that beast shall be slain.
Killed by the glorious burst of the rays of light,
driving away those cruel dancing lights.
And thus,
the battle has been won.
Without a single blood shed upon the sky.
But then,
the beast shall rise again.
This poem describes the day and night. I describe the sunset and sunrise to be the start of the battle between the day and the night. After the sunset, the night will win the battle. However, after the sunrise, the day will win the battle.
